How much does YouTube promotion cost?
Last updated 3 October 2026
Promotion is priced per view, and the view price depends on where the viewer is. Worldwide targeting runs $6.00 per 1,000 views for long-form video and $4.00 for Shorts. The US, UK, Canada and Australia run near $13.20 for the same video, because more advertisers bid for that attention. Our minimum weekly budget is $29.
What a first test should cost
Enough to read the data and no more. $49 to $99 across one week produces a retention curve and an audience breakdown you can act on. Below that the sample is too small to tell you anything, and above it you are scaling a video you have not tested yet.
Why most services will not quote a rate
Packages quoted as a flat fee for an estimated number of views hide the per-view price, which means you cannot compare two quotes or tell which countries you are buying. Ask any service for its cost per thousand views before you pay. If the answer is a range rather than a number, ask which country sits at each end of it.
